A cut above the standard-issue 12yo, Glenlivet 15yo is finished, as the name suggests, in Limousin French Oak (the same kind that is used for many cognacs).

This dram has a gold-like color.

Nose (89): powerful. honey, vanilla, citrus, peaches, wood, floral.

Palate (89): oily, powerful. spices, wood, honey, citrus, floral.

Finish (87): long. spices, honey, vanilla, wood.

So based on other whiskies I have already tasted I rate this Glenlivet 15 Year Old / 1L Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisk with 88 points over 100.
