A cut above the standard-issue 12yo, Glenlivet 15yo is finished, as the name suggests, in Limousin French Oak (the same kind that is used for many cognacs).

This dram has a amber-like color.

Nose (90): average. honey, vanilla, malt, peaches, apples, toffeem spices.

Palate (88): powerful, oily. honey, spices, wood, cinnamon, floral, citrus.

Finish (87): longer than average. honey, citrus, spices.

So based on other whiskies I have already tasted I rate this Glenlivet 15 Year Old Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisk with 88 points over 100.
