This Cigar Malt was specially selected by a panel in Glasgow, who chose from a shortlist of 10 incredible casks, selecting this as the best whisky which could both hold its own as a malt in its own right, and as a perfect accompaniment for a cigar. This was aged in a sherry butt number 3661, from an unnamed Speyside distillery. The result is rich plummy and is excellent when paired with a medium to full-bodied cigar.

    “I am not a smoker... this is a nice whisky but nothing really huge or special.”
    This dram has a cooper-like color.

    Nose (87): more than average. honey, dust, wood, flowers, pepper, vanilla.

    Taste (88): powerful, oily. honey, toffee, floral, spices, wood, pepper, apples, malt, vanilla.

    Finish (88): longer than average. honey, floral, citrus, spices.
