A 1994 vintage from Ardbeg bottled as part of Murray McDavid's Mission series, collecting together some of the rarer and more interesting casks that they have hiding in their warehouse. This was matured for 17 years in a bourbon cask before bottling in 2011 at Bruichladdich. MAXIMUM 1 PER CUSTOMER.

    “Sublime nose! Greatly well aged Ardbeg whisky with all its peat muscle still there.”
    This dram has a white wine-like color.

    Nose (93): more than average. peat, honey, earth, citrus, vanilla, iodine, coffee. Sublime! Most delicate peat punch with the sweetest honey.

    Taste (92): smooth, powerful, oily. peat, honey, citrus, floral, earth, cocoa.

    Finish (90): longer than average. peat, honey, spices, wood.
