Aniseed is one of the drinks world's most popular flavours, cropping up in absinthe, raki, pastis, sambuca and ouzo to name just a few. Monin have produced a marvellous aniseed syrup and recommend it with chocolate sauce in hot cocoa, which sounds pretty amazing.
