A bottle of Chateau Rieussec from the legendary 1997 Sauternes vintage. The noble rot (botrytis) which is necessary for the production of the wine only set in during October, so those who harvested late were rewarded. Rich and complex, this is will drink well now and into the latter part of the 2020s.
