This is the original, first release of Balvenie 21 year old. This whisky was matured in traditional oak casks before being transferred to Port pipes which previously held 30 year old Port. This is the only release of the Balvenie 21yo to carry a bottling date and is quite collectible, being the first of what is now a highly sought after expression.
